Crusaders Three Day Varsity Match 2002
Thursday 27 June 2002
Cambridge gained a winning draw in an exciting match where Cambridge needed only one more wicket to secure a win. The game swung in both teams favour throughout the match but it was firmly in Cambridge\'s grasp at the end of the match. Good individual performances from Chris Hillyard with the bat amassing over 160 runs and Anush Newman with the ball saw Cambridge into this strong position.

Chris is finally got out

After the match a few words of thanks from skipper Tom Mclellan

and a few alarm clocks to ensure that he never misses another graduation ceremony - oh I almost forgot he wont get another chance.

And Ifan gets awarded a big bag of pies to bring proceedings to an end!
