4 Day Varsity: Cambridge Struggle on Day 1

The Blues suffered a long day in the field at the Parks on day 1 of the Varsity Match, with Oxford racking up 475 for the loss of just two wickets.

The first mistake from the Oxford openers came with the score on 259, Agarwal playing across the line to be lbw to Taylor. Taylor then struck again to remove the other opener King (189), but not before he had put on 169 with Sharma, who remained unbeaten on 124 at the close.

Cambridge will need to bat long on days 2 and 3.
